Prosecutors in Michael Jackson's molestation case say the defense is going too far in asking for the gynecology records of the accuser's mother.

The Santa Barbara County, California, district attorney's office accuses the defense of grossly abusing the process of the court by seeking information the prosecution says could not possibly be used in Jackson's defense.

Prosecutors say Jackson's team has asked for X-rays, lab tests, gynecological records, mental health records, and information about the accuser's three-month-old brother. Prosecutors also accuse the defense of seeking information on the family's finances. Defense lawyers have claimed the family is only after Jackson's money. The judge in the case will take up the matter at a hearing next Monday.
