Nick Cave will guest on electro project UNKLE’s sixth studio album.

BBC6 interviewed James Lavelle and Pablo Clements of the sombre collaborative electro outfit about the follow-up to May 2010's Where Did The Night Fall.

They have already been working on the next album, which is tentatively titled Day Fall, and will feature Nick Cave as the main guest.

Cave and Lavelle united while Lavelle was curating an exhibition which featured photographs by Polly Borland, who has snapped the goth rocker for most of his career.

When asked about the vibe between them in the studio, Lavelle chuckled, “It’s fitting in very good, I can’t give too much away. We’ll have to wait and see.”

Pablo Clements went on to jokily describe one of the songs Cave worked on as a “stupid-ass glam rock track”.

Day Fall has a February 2011 release planned, but Clements cautioned, “Don’t quote me on that.”
