BEADS release their debut UK single 'Evil' through Perfect Kiss
Seattle duo, BEADS release their debut UK single, 'Evil', through Perfect Kiss on Monday 26th April 2010. The single, featuring B-side 'No-One Knows', will be available on limited edition seven-inch vinyl and digital download.
Written and recorded by brothers Snow and Garnet Keim, BEADS is the sound of rogues relaxing, strumming ten dollar thrift store guitars and telling stories of sweet hope, rotten businessmen, and feral pet dogs you probably should have given away a long time ago. The basement baroque soul rock of BEADS is like a private journal written between riotous nights rocking the clubs on tour and Sunday morning come downs packing up to head out of town.
This haunting first single is "about the loss of innocence. It is a cold hard look in the mirror and the sin of mortality," says Garnet Keim. "This record oozes the life that we lead and events and experiences from our past.
The single 'Evil' will also be the debut release for new Manchester label, Perfect Kiss. To accompany the release Perfect Kiss will be commissioning a short series of photographs to depict a theme behind the release.
