From today you can listen to tracks from Magic Chairs, the forthcoming album from Efterklang. Head to the band's website www.efterklang.net to hear 'Modern Drift', 'Alike' and 'Full Moon' before it's official worldwide release on 22nd February.
'Modern Drift', the lead album track that's currently doing the rounds both online and on the radio, now boasts a visual accompaniment in the form of this Kristian Leth video:
The video is based on and features footage from Dyrehaven, den Romantiske Skov, a 1970 film by Per Kirkeby and Jørgen Leth (Kristian's father, esteemed Danish film-maker and inspiration behind the album title Magic Chairs). Be warned - best avoid watching if you have an aversion to nudity or er, herds of deer.
The Copenhagen-based group embark on a US and European tour this Spring. All dates can be found here, the UK and Ireland ones are below:
