KATY PERRY has said that she thinks Lady GaGa started the hermaphrodite rumours herself.
Rumours the Poker Face star was half-and-half were sparked when a video still of the singer performing at Glastonbury revealed a bulge between her legs.
But while some suggested it could have been caused by undergarments or a bad angle, the rumour mill went into overload that it was a penis.
Bossip.com reported that when asked, Gaga said: "It's not something that I'm ashamed of, just isn't something that I go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but I consider myself a female.
"It's just a little bit of a penis and really doesn't interfere much with my life. The reason I haven't talked about it is that it's not a big deal to me. Like come on. It's not like we all go around talking about our v***.
"I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I'm sexy, I'm hot. I have both a **** and a p*****. Big f******g deal."
Days later he publicist denied the rumours, but Perry thinks that Lady GaGa planned the whole charade herself.
She said: "It's all very calculated. She knows what she's doing. She put something in her knickers, a mini strap-on. Bless her if she does have a dick but I'm certain she doesn't!"
