LL Cool J records Jackson tribute

LL Cool J has allegedly recorded a song dedicated to Michael Jackson.

The singer has paid tribute to the late star in a recently-recorded song titled 'Billie Jean Dream'.

The new track is based around Jackson's 1983 single 'Billie Jean' with LL Cool J putting his own mark on the King of Pop's worldwide hit.

Speaking to Billboard, he said: "After hearing the tragic news of Michael Jackson's death, the lyrics for the 'Billie Jean' remix came to me in a dream.

"Michael was one of my childhood idols and has always been a great inspiration to me."

The song is available as a streaming track on LL Cool J's official blog.
