SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR has revealed that she turned down the chance to collaborate with the Kaiser Chiefs.

But she said it wasn't a malicious snub but just that none of them could find the time.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Ellis-Bextor, who features on the Freemasons's new single Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer, said: "There were good intentions, but the diaries weren't compatible."

She added that she is always keen to work with new people, having already collaborated with Calvin Harris and Liam from the Sneaker Pimps for her fourth solo album, due out later this year.

She added: "I'm a bit of a tart really; I'll work with anybody just to see what will happen."
