Lenny blames bodyguards for no women

Rock star Lenny Kravitz complains that he can't meet women because his bodyguards are always in the way.

"I'm always surrounded by my entourage and bodyguards," the singer told German Instyle magazine. "So it's hard for me to get to know women."

The 40-year-old performer went on to deny that he was currently in a relationship with tennis star Boris Becker's ex-wife, Barbara.

"We just work out and shop together," said Kravitz.

"Sometimes we go out at night in Miami," he said. "But we prefer having deep conversations to partying."

The singer said he considered himself a normal father to his 15-year-old daughter Zoe, but admitted he could be strict when it came to dating.

"I'm strict when it comes to boys," he said. "Any male except me has to stay away."
