Paul Weller's girlfriend admits she is devastated by their split.
Samantha Stock, who was with the British rocker for 13 years, is predicting a gloomy Christmas for her and the couple's two children - Jesamine and Stevie - since their split was announced at the weekend.
Stock, 38, said: "It's very sad - especially at Christmas and with the children."
Weller, 50, has left the couple's London home, in the Maida Vale district, and has moved in with backing singer Hannah Andrews, 23, who lives in the same area.
Andrews and Weller reportedly became close when working together on his most recent album '22 Dreams'. The young backing singer appears on seven tracks and has toured with Weller.
A source said: "Paul worked very closely with Hannah. They discovered they have a lot in common musically and personally, despite the age gap. They have lived together for around a month."
A spokeswoman for Weller said: "It's a very sad and unfortunate situation that their marriage has broken down."
The singer has two children with Stock, as well as two with former backing singer and ex-wife Dee C Lee, and one child from a short relationship.
