Those Danish purveyors of slick and shiny fun-filled pop, Alphabeat, have today confirmed they will join such heavyweights as Sam Sparro and Tommy Sparks – and loads more - at what's set to be the ultimate festive shindig, the first ever Wonky Christmas Party.
Taking place at the newest and most technologically advanced club in the UK, London's Matter, on December 12th, Alphabeat will perform one of their typically passionate and exciting sets, featuring hit tracks from their top 10 debut UK album This Is Alphabeat, including "Boyfriend", "Fantastic Six", "Fascination"and "10,000 Nights". Their November UK tour is almost sold out so this may be the last chance to see Alphabeat in Britain this year - you won't want to miss it!
Add to this the likes of New Romantic legend Steve Strange and indie royalty Magistrates on the decks and you’ve got yourself one hell of a night out. Plus the Wonky Christmas Party is pleased to announce the addition of DJ Kris Di Angelis, resident DJ at Jodie Harsh’s Soho club night Circus and darling of the dance community thanks to his fab remixes for the likes of Alphabeat, Ladyhawke and Roisin Murphy.
