Lordi announce new CD

Finnish monster-rockers LORDI announced that their fourth studio album, entitled Deadache, will be released in October 2008.

A new album cycle calls for a new look – fantastic (in both senses of the word) costumes designed by Mr Lordi will surely fit the bill!

A crucial element of LORDI's appeal has always been the band's monster characters. As is customary for LORDI, the look of each character has been redesigned for the new album. The new costumes, designed by Mr. Lordi will make their in-person debut when LORDI headlines Popkomm in Berlin this October.

The anthemic first single off the Nino Laurenne-produced Deadache, "Bite It Like A Bulldog," will hit the radio soon. The song features a powerful bass line and was co-written by Mr. Lordi and bassist Mr. Ox. Other song titles from the upcoming opus include "Man Skin Boots," "Girls Go Chopping," "Ghosts of Heceta Head" and "Dead Bugs Bite." The album has a horror-theme, but a classic rock sound.
