Radiohead remix on classical CD

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has remixed a track for a classical album.

Thom Yorke will be joined by former members of The Beta Band and Gorillaz for the project entitled 'Cortical Songs'.

The album of classical material has been put together by John Matthias who contributed violin to Radiohead's 'The Bends' and composer Nick Ryan. The album will be released on July 21.

Joining Yorke on remixing duties will be former Verve guitarist Simon Tong and one-time Beta Band ivory tinkler John Maclean.
