KATSEYE have been forced to cancel two more concerts due to Megan Skiendiel suffering a concussion.

On Tuesday, a representative for the girl group announced at the last minute that The Wildworld Tour show in Detroit, Michigan would no longer go ahead as Skiendiel was unwell.

Gigs scheduled for Chicago and Minneapolis this week have also been postponed, and on Thursday, a spokesperson shared more details about the singer's health.

"The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion," they wrote in a statement posted to Instagram Stories. "We are incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans. We know how much you've been looking forward to these shows, and that many of you have traveled long distances to be there."

The rep emphasised that KATEYE are "truly sorry" for the cancellations.

"We don't take that lightly, and we're truly sorry for the disappointment," they added. "We'll announce the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, so please hold on to your tickets. We can't wait to see you in both cities again soon. Thank you for your continued love, support and understanding."

Skiendiel, 20, has not publicly commented on how she sustained the concussion.

The rescheduled dates for the gigs have not yet been confirmed.

It's not the first time the Touch hitmakers have been forced to make changes to the trek.

Previously, Manon Bannerman confirmed she was taking a hiatus for mental health reasons, while Sophia Laforteza is sitting out the North America leg of the tour.

KATSEYE is next scheduled to perform in Austin, Texas on 10 November.
