KATSEYE cancelled their Detroit show shortly before they were due on stage after Megan Skiendiel fell ill.

The girl group were due to bring their Wildworld Tour to Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday (03.11.26), but gig-goers were presented with a message on a big screen informing them that the performance had been postponed less than an hour before kick-off.

A statement on their Instagram Story read: “We’re so sorry to share that tonight’s show at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed due to illness.

“Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover.”

They continued: “We know so many of you have traveled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight.

“We are incredibly disappointed that we won’t get to see you, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience. (sic)"

The statement concluded: “Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for always showing us so much love. We love you and can’t wait to see you soon.”

A new date will be confirmed with tickets for the cancelled show valid.

According to reports, Megan had skipped a VIP soundcheck before the show as she didn't feel well.

The Touch singers are next due on stage at the United Center in Chicago on Thursday (05.11.26).

It's been a tough time for KATSEYE. As their career took off, two band members - Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman - have sat out band activities to focus on their mental health.

Sophia recently praised her management company and bandmates for their support amid her health struggles.

She continued: “There’s been nothing but love and support from the company, my members, and everyone else around me as I work to get well. I can’t wait until I return and share the stage with my sisters again.

“They’re gonna put on an extraordinary performance for you. Trust me, I’ve been watching and they’re absolutely giving.”

She concluded by thanking fans for their support as she wrote: “I love you all so much. Thank you for understanding.”
