The mighty RAZORLIGHT have confirmed that their headline performance at this years ‘ROCK NESS’ festival which takes place on the shores of the stunning Loch Ness in June, is going to be their only show for the whole of the summer of 2008, which is great news for all lucky Rock Ness ticket holders who will be treated to an exclusive set from one of the UK’s greatest bands.
The band commented “Rock Ness is our only UK festival that we are playing this year! We’ve never played Rock Ness before and we are really looking forward to it. Great location. Great Crowd. We can’t wait!”
The rock and roll superstars who will headline the main stage set against the stunning backdrop of the magical Loch on Sunday 8th June have now sold 1.5 million albums worldwide of their chart smashing album ‘Razorlight’ and are currently working on their highly anticipated third album in Scotland! Bombastic frontman JOHNNY BORRELL added “I love Scotland, I am finishing writing songs for the third album in the Hebrides”
Other acts to be recently added to the stellar 2008 lineup over the weekend of the 7/8 June are 2 top Scots Calvin Harris and Mylo, along with Radio 1 deck meister Pete Tong and electronic legend Justin Robertson.
The two day festival features a stunning line-up of electronic, dance and rock’s most exciting names, confirming Rock Ness is offering a cool summer soundtrack for music lovers.
Saturday 7 June sees the mighty FATBOY SLIM to grace the decks on the banks of Ness, along with THE VIEW, THE TWANG, HERCULES AND LOVE AFFAIR, AND SOULWAX to name but a few.
Sunday 8 June sees RAZORLIGHT rock the main stage, along with dance legends UNDERWORLD, THE EDITORS, CSS and ROISIN MURPHY also on the bill.
