Charli XCX has been forced to cancel a concert at the last minute due to illness.

On Tuesday, the Apple hitmaker posted a statement on her Instagram Stories announcing that her Music, Fashion, Film Tour show at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona would no longer take place on Wednesday.

"I have been fighting sickness throughout this run of shows and have now completely lost my voice," she began. "I put absolutely everything I have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks me that I can't be with you tomorrow."

Charli, born Charlotte Aitchison, noted that her team tried to reschedule the concert to another date but "ultimately were unable to". Ticket holders will automatically receive refunds.

The 360 star also promised to visit her "Arizona angels" in the future.

"Again, I'm sorry to the angels who had made plans to be there tomorrow. I know how much time, planning, and care it takes to come to concerts and appreciate everyone's support immensely," the 34-year-old added.

At present, Charli still plans to appear at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday.

The gig marks the final concert of the North America leg of the Music, Fashion, Film Tour, with the British star scheduled to perform 11 more shows in early 2027.

Meanwhile, Lily Allen has also cancelled a show set to take place at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on Wednesday night.

"To my West End Girls in Auckland, I am sorry to have to tell you that I have come down with a viral infection and am unable to perform tonight," the 41-year-old wrote on Instagram. "I was really looking forward to seeing you all and am absolutely gutted to be letting you down."
