Legendary electronic duo Chase and Status are on track to secure this week's highest new entry on the Official Singles Chart with their explosive new track "Carnage", featuring London rapper Little Simz. According to early streaming and sales data from the Official Chart First Look, the track is currently forecast to enter the charts at Number 28, which would mark the duo's 14th Top 40 single.

The high-octane collaboration follows the release of Chase and Status's seventh studio album, Generic Everything. For the project, members Saul Milton and Will Kennard recruited an array of prominent UK talent to contribute to their signature drum and bass sound.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues her dominance at the summit, as "Patient Zero" looks set to claim a third consecutive week at Number 1. However, heavy pressure remains from the trailing competition. Jamie Miller’s breakout smash "Babydoll" climbs one place to Number 2, while Ashe’s "Stop The Wedding!" rises to Number 3, completing an active top three ahead of Friday’s final countdown.

Further down the standings, British rap staple Digga is eyeing another potential new entry with "Girls All Around The World", currently holding at Number 39. Club anthems are also enjoying significant upward momentum this week. "Good Girl" by Cloonee, Prospa, and Tristan Henry aims to break into the Top 20 for the very first time, surging nine spots to Number 16. Additionally, German DJ Kolter’s "Hey Everybody (Back In The Dance)" climbs to Number 20, while DJ Goja, Jason Derulo, and Melody’s "Mi Chico" rises to Number 26.

The top ten is rounded out by Sienna Spiro's "Great Expectation" at Number 4, Stella Lefty's "Boston" at Number 5, and Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" at Number 6. Adela's "Nicole Kidman" holds at Number 7, followed by Olivia Rodrigo's "The Cure" at Number 8, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's "Rein Me In" at Number 9, and Olivia Dean's solo hit "Man I Need" climbing into the Top 10 at Number 10.
