Welsh singer Jamie Miller is locked in an intense mid-week battle for the summit of the Official Singles Chart, with his breakout hit "Babydoll" setting its sights on the Number 1 spot.

Having first broken into the Top 40 back in September, the track has enjoyed a meteoric rise, most recently scaling new heights inside the top tier. According to the latest Official Chart First Look, "Babydoll" currently sits at Number 3, keeping immense pressure on Taylor Swift’s leading track "Patient Zero" at Number 1 and Sienna Spiro’s "Great Expectation" at Number 2. As preliminary sales and early streaming reports roll in, music fans await to see if Miller can pull off a sensational upset by Friday.

Elsewhere in the mid-week update, several major heavyweights are making significant waves. Noah Kahan is eyeing a strong Top 10 debut with "Draw You Out," taken from the upcoming The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping soundtrack, which currently tracks at Number 7.

Meanwhile, following the release of the expanded HABIBTI (FOMO) edition, global superstar Drake is poised to land multiple new entries inside the Top 40. These include "Solar Eclipse" featuring Don Toliver at Number 16, "Cold Shoulder" featuring Don Toliver and Yebba at Number 27, and "Quebec" tracking at Number 28.

Dance floors are also well-represented in this week's chart race. German DJ Kolter is on course for his first-ever Top 40 appearance with "Hey Everybody (Back In The Dance)" at Number 21, while Cloonee, Prospa, and Tristan Henry continue to climb with "Good Girl" at Number 23.

Rounding out the notable mid-week movements, acclaimed Irish outfit Fontaines D.C. are tracking for their third career Top 40 single with "Tongue," the second offering from their highly anticipated upcoming album Dopamine Chamber, which currently sits at Number 32.

The final chart positions will be revealed this Friday, with fans watching closely to see if Jamie Miller can claim the crown.
