British music legend Robbie Williams has been announced as an official Album Icon for the upcoming ninth edition of National Album Day, taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

With a record-breaking 18 BRIT Awards and 16 UK Number 1 albums to his name, Williams joins previously announced champions PinkPantheress, Max Richter CBE, and Melanie C to celebrate the enduring cultural significance of the album format. The event's overarching theme for 2026 shines a spotlight on legendary music icons.

To mark the occasion, Universal Music Recordings and Island Records are reissuing Williams' acclaimed 2000 third studio album, Sing When You're Winning, as a limited-edition 2LP red and blue coloured vinyl set. This marks the first time the multi-platinum record has been pressed on vinyl in a quarter of a century, playing at 45 RPM just like the original release.

Originally dropping in August 2000, Sing When You're Winning achieved 8× Platinum status and spent 77 weeks on the UK charts, spawning massive hit singles including "Rock DJ," the Kylie Minogue duet "Kids," and "Supreme."

Presented in association with BBC Radio 2, National Album Day brings together record labels, independent retailers, and fans across the UK to honor the art of the album through special releases, listening events, and artist celebrations.
