Rapper Quavo is a new dad.
In an interview for Complex published via social media on Tuesday, the former Migos star confirmed he recently welcomed his first child, a daughter.
Quavo - real name Quavious Marshall - didn't disclose the little one's name or birthday.
However, he admitted fatherhood has added "more fuel to the fire" when it comes to his career ambitions.
"It's a blessing that God gave me," he said. "It's a whole new state. It brings joy to me. It brings a new reason why I'm doing this. It brings like a new hunger, a new fire to me. I'm just proud to be a father now, 'cause we used to always talk about that. So, I'm just happy about it."
Quavo added that he is "real sensitive" when it comes to talking about his baby girl.
"That's my soft part. Just seeing her light, seeing her smile. Seeing her call me dad. Just looking just like me. That's the scary and beautiful part of it. You know, keeping her happy... spoiling the s**t out of her. But just, you know, just being that for her," the 35-year-old shared.
Quavo appears to give fans a glimpse of his daughter in a short film promoting his upcoming album, Qrömelife.
The project includes a collaboration with Pharrell Williams, who also served as a producer.
And while details of the album remain under wraps, Complex reported that it concludes tracks about Quavo's late Migos co-star, Takeoff, who was fatally shot at the age of 28 in 2022.
