Olivia Dean is celebrating the one-year anniversary of her second studio album, The Art of Loving, following a 12-month period that saw the record break historic UK chart records and achieve global double-platinum certification.
Released via Capitol Records on 26 September 2025, the 12-track project—produced alongside Zach Nahome—became the longest-running number-one album by a British female artist this decade. Dean also made history as the first British woman to hold the number-one spot on both the UK Singles and Albums Charts simultaneously with the project's lead single, "Man I Need."
To mark the milestone, Dean has unveiled two limited anniversary vinyl editions: a half-speed master 180g silver vinyl and a retail-exclusive pink LP.
Over the past year, The Art of Loving has generated over 11 billion global streams and achieved more than 6.5 million adjusted unit sales worldwide. The album debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 and reached the top spot in Australia, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. Her commercial success culminated in key award wins, including the 2026 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, four BRIT Awards—including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year—three MOBO Awards, and a Mercury Prize nomination.
Her single "Man I Need" currently stands as the biggest UK single of 2026, while "Rein Me In," her duet with Sam Fender, spent 23 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart, setting a new record for the longest-running UK number-one single in chart history.
The album was accompanied by a major world arena tour across Europe, North America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The live run featured a record-setting six sold-out nights at London's O2 Arena and four sold-out performances at New York's Madison Square Garden, along with two upgraded outdoor shows at Marlay Park in Dublin.
