Pop superstar Harry Styles surprised fans and coffee lovers across central London on Saturday by funding free drinks for all visitors at independent coffee retailer Kaffeine, in a report first published by the BBC. The gesture was arranged via concert promoter Live Nation to celebrate the extension of Styles' record-breaking Together, Together world tour.
The giveaway spanned Kaffeine’s two central London locations on Eastcastle Street and Great Titchfield Street. Owner Peter Dore-Smith revealed that Live Nation selected the business after noting it was one of Styles' favourite coffee spots in the capital, with the singer having previously visited the Eastcastle Street venue.
To ensure every customer was covered throughout the day, Styles paid for both locations' average Saturday earnings upfront, adding an extra financial buffer to cover additional demand. While the event could not be promoted on social media in advance, staff placed posters in the shop windows on the morning of the event and applied official Together, Together tour stickers to every cup served.
Dore-Smith noted that his team put on extra staff for the rush, playing Styles' discography in the shops while baristas wore ties to mirror the artist’s signature wardrobe. When unsuspecting customers arrived to pay for their orders, staff informed them that their drinks were completely on the house courtesy of the pop star.
The promoter-backed initiative follows similar surprise promotional giveaways Styles has previously funded, including pop-up partnerships with independent florists and ice cream parlours.
The surprise coffee treat comes on the heels of major touring news announced last week, with Harry Styles adding three extra headline dates at London's Wembley Stadium on 25, 27, and 28 August 2027 as part of his ongoing Together, Together tour.
