Alabama-born country singer Ella Langley has secured her first-ever UK Number 1 single as 'Choosin' Texas' climbs two places to claim the top spot on the Official Singles Chart.
The track's ascent completes an eight-month chart run since its initial debut at Number 78 in January. After entering the Top 40 in February and the Top 10 in July, 'Choosin' Texas' reached Number 3 in August before taking the top position today. The rise ends the 23-week reign of Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s collaboration 'Rein Me In', which falls to Number 7 after being named the UK’s Official Song of the Summer 2026.
Sienna Spiro achieves a new career-best as 'Great Expectation' rises three places to Number 2, eclipsing her previous peak with 'Die On This Hill'. Spiro also places a second single in the chart as 'Pure' climbs to Number 36.
