Pop icons BTS have launched the final leg of their North American tour with the first of four sold-out performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The four-night engagement at SoFi Stadium concludes an epic 31-show run across 12 North American regions, drawing an estimated 1.7 million fans in total.
The landmark 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' has already set record-breaking achievements, standing as the highest-grossing tour of the group's career. Billboard Boxscore reports that the tour grossed over $433 million and sold 2.3 million tickets across its first 38 international dates. With this run, BTS became only the third artist in history—alongside Beyoncé and Bad Bunny—to gross more than $100 million in multiple calendar months.
Beginning in Tampa, the trek crossed major cities including El Paso, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Chicago before arriving in Los Angeles. Each stop featured unique setlist surprises from the group's deep discography, alongside citywide celebrations. Local authorities honored the tour with official proclamations and landmarks lit in purple and ARIRANG red, including Los Angeles officially declaring the first week of September as "BTS Week."
The tour's impact extended into immersive citywide fan experiences in New York and Las Vegas under 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG,' which featured cultural collaborations, exhibitions, and interactive programs across major civic landmarks like Grand Central Terminal and Rockefeller Center.
The North American run follows the release of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, supported by the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping lead single "SWIM." Following the final SoFi Stadium show on September 6, BTS will take the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' to Latin America next month to continue their global stadium run.
