Leading the chart resurgence, her signature 1973 anthem "Jolene" returns to the UK Singles Chart at Number 9 following a massive 364% week-on-week uplift. The track originally reached Number 7 in 1976 and was last seen inside the Top 40 in July of that year. Across its fifty-year history, "Jolene" has now accumulated over 2.1 million UK chart units.
Meanwhile, her celebrated working-class anthem "9 to 5" surges to Number 12 following a 350% weekly increase in consumption. The jump marks the song's first-ever appearance in the UK Top 40, easily eclipsing its original 1981 peak of Number 47. With 2.4 million total UK chart units, "9 to 5" currently stands as Parton's biggest track of all time in the UK.
Right behind, her famous 1983 duet with Kenny Rogers, "Islands In the Stream," re-enters the charts at Number 13, powered by a 276% consumption increase. The single previously peaked at Number 7 in 1984 and has collected 2.2 million UK chart units to date. Together, "9 to 5," "Islands In the Stream," and "Jolene" hold the top three spots as Parton's most-streamed tracks of all time across the country.
The outpouring of support extends to the Official Albums Chart as well. Her career retrospective, Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection, jumps to Number 6, surpassing its previous peak of Number 32 to land its first-ever week inside the UK Top 10.
