Katseye has pulled out of Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields two days before the festival kicks off.
The band announced that singer Megan Meiyok Skiendiel had sprained her ankle, rendering the group unable to perform.
In a note posted to Instagram, the band noted, "We're so incredibly sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday.
"Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour. We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there."
Taking place on Saturday in Irvine, California, the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields will feature Rodrigo headlining a self-curated, all-female lineup that also includes Chappell Roan, Doechii, Rachel Chinouriri, The Breeders, Garbage, Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan. All proceeds will benefit charities supporting women and girls.
"We were especially excited for Daisy Chain Fields because it's not just about music, but the greater mission of joy and community," Katseye's statement continued.
"We're sending all our love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organisations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special."
The news marks the latest bump in the road for the group. In August last year, Sophia revealed that she was stepping back from band duties to prioritise her mental well-being. In February, it was announced that Manon too would be taking a hiatus, bringing Katseye's member count down to four.
Alt-pop singer/songwriter Devon Again will step in to perform at Daisy Chain Fields in their place.
