Alex Warren has cancelled a show at the last minute due to being "bedridden sick".
The Ordinary hitmaker had been scheduled to perform at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday night.
But just hours before the Finding Family on the Road gig was set to begin, Warren issued a statement via Instagram in which he revealed he was too unwell to sing.
"I never have to do this and it breaks my heart to even write this but I have to cancel tonight's show," the 25-year-old wrote. "I have tried everything to be able to make this show work and I'm sadly bedridden sick at the moment. I can barely talk let alone sing and it sadly isn't possible to play tonight's show."
Warren went on to thank his fans for their support and understanding.
"I understand what it takes to be able to attend concerts and the fact so many of you travelled for this one has made this decision even more difficult. I love you so much and hope you understand," he declared.
Ticketholders will receive an automatic refund.
In a statement, officials at Frontier Touring confirmed the Fever Dream singer-songwriter was too unwell to perform "following medical advice".
"Alex is devastated to miss the show and has been looking forward to performing for his Auckland fans. He sincerely thanks fans for their understanding and support," they added.
Warren is next due to perform in Sydney, Australia on Friday.
He will release his second studio album, Wildchild, this week.
