Californian singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers has secured her first solo UK Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with her third studio album, Lost Weekend.
The record marks a milestone follow-up to her 2022 release Punisher, which peaked at Number 6. Bridgers previously topped the UK album charts in 2023 as a member of the indie supergroup boygenius alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus with the record.
Lost Weekend also earned the top spot on both the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and the Official Record Store Chart for the week. The chart-topping debut represents the first-ever UK Number 1 album for independent Indiana record label Dead Oceans.
Elsewhere in the chart, global girl group KATSEYE secured the Number 2 position with their third EP, WILD. The result marks a new career-high peak for members Daniela, Lara, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, outperforming their 2025 release BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which peaked at Number 55. The entry comes ahead of the group’s UK dates for THE WILDWORLD TOUR next month.
Irish rock band The Script entered at Number 3 with The User’s Guide To Being Human, securing their ninth UK Top 10 album. Right behind them, electronic production trio Jungle—comprising Josh Lloyd-Watson, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto—debuted at Number 4 with their fifth studio album, Sunshine. The entry maintains the group's record of every studio album reaching the UK Top 10. Michael Jackson’s compilation The Essential rounded out the Top 5.
Further down the charts, Kris Barras Band claimed their third Top 40 entry with Monsters We Made at Number 21, while Marilyn Manson earned a 12th UK Top 40 album as One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 opened at Number 27. Additionally, Ariana Grande’s 2024 album eternal sunshine climbed 58 places to Number 15, boosted by her ongoing arena residency at London's The O2.
