Pop icons Madonna and Kylie Minogue have joined forces to claim the highest new entry on this week's Official Singles Chart, as their blockbuster collaboration "Love Sensation" debuts at Number 8.
Lifted from Madonna’s 13th UK Number 1 album CONFESSIONS II, the track marks her highest-charting single in nearly 17 years, since "Celebration" reached Number 3 in 2009. The success extends her record as the female artist with the most Top 10 singles in Official Chart history, bringing her total to 65. Madonna now stands behind only Elvis Presley with 76 and Cliff Richard with 68, spanning four decades of Top 10 hits across the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2020s.
Kylie Minogue secures her 37th Top 10 single with the track, following her 2025 Official Christmas Number 1 "XMAS." The achievement extends Kylie's run of UK Top 10 hits across five consecutive decades, dating back to the late 1980s. Together, the duo now boasts a combined total of 102 UK Top 10 singles.
At the top of the chart, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean maintain the Number 1 spot with "Rein Me In," marking a 21st non-consecutive week at the summit. Shakira and Burna Boy hold firm at Number 2 with "Dai Dai," while Ella Langley climbs back to Number 3 with "Choosin' Texas."
Elsewhere in the Top 10, British singer Sienna Spiro achieves a new personal best as "Great Expectation" reaches Number 7. Stella Lefty collects her first-ever Top 10 entry with "Boston" rising to Number 9, followed closely by producer Silva Bumpa, who earns his first Top 10 single with "On 2nite" at Number 10.
Film soundtracks also impacted the chart this week following the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tame Impala’s "Loser" vaulted 13 places to Number 14, while Steve Lacy’s "oh yeah?" surged 69 positions to reach Number 23. Finally, Sabrina Carpenter’s former chart-topper "Espresso" re-entered the Top 40 at Number 26 following a two-year anniversary vinyl release.
