Rod Stewart rescheduled his concert on Tuesday just hours before showtime.
The British music legend was forced to scrap a show in Niagara Falls, Canada, on Tuesday after a mechanical fault grounded the aircraft he was due to travel on. The cancellation comes just weeks after he called off another performance due to health issues.
Rod, 81, shared the news on his Instagram Stories, explaining that the show had to be postponed because of a "mechanical fault" with the aircraft.
"Important information about tonight's show," the post began. "Due to a mechanical fault with the aircraft's landing gear, Rod Stewart is regretfully unable to travel to Niagara Falls and must postpone tonight's performance at Fallsview Casino Resort."
It continued, "Rod is deeply disappointed and apologises to fans for the inconvenience."
The show has been rescheduled to 4 March 2027, and tickets will be honoured for the new date.
"He looks forward to returning for the rescheduled performance on Thursday, March 4, 2027 where he promises to make it up to his fans," the post stated.
The concert was part of the I Don't Want to Talk About It hitmaker's final large-scale global arena tour, One Last Time.
The last-minute cancellation comes after Rod pulled out of a performance at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista in June on medical advice after being diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection that resulted in laryngitis.
However, the singer-songwriter later faced backlash after he was spotted at a World Cup match just hours later.
The Maggie May rocker subsequently acknowledged on talkSPORT that he shouldn't have gone to the game, but he didn't want to let two of his sons down.
"It wasn't a good look, I admit, but I'm going to have to just take the stick," he added.
Rod also cancelled two shows in May while recovering from a sinus infection.
