Avril Lavigne performed at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, according to sports commentator Pat McAfee.

The Complicated singer reportedly entertained guests with a rendition of her 2002 hit song Sk8er Boi during the wedding at New York's Madison Square Garden on 3 July.

The sports analyst revealed the surprise performer during the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show this week.

"I guess me saying Avril Lavigne played Sk8er Boi was the first time that it came out," he said. "But she was awesome."

He also revealed that the couple's musician friends freely performed throughout the night.

"To be clear, those musicians... really cool. Like, one would just call out the other and then they would come up and they would just do their s**t," he added.

The former American football player noted that he wasn't familiar with all the songs performed during the big day, and revealed that Taylor's friend Ice Spice also took to the stage and "had a lot of energy up there".

Avril and Ice joined previously reported performers Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks. The former Beatle reportedly sang I Want to Hold Your Hand for the first time in more than 60 years, while the former Fleetwood Mac star's setlist remains unknown.

Despite all guests signing NDAs, Pat shared further details about the wedding and defended Taylor and Travis's decision to marry in a sports and music venue.

"So anybody that's saying anything negative about that place... now granted, shutting down a pulsing city and that whole thing, you guys can have your thoughts on that," he shared. "The event itself was like the most spectacular grand thing I've ever seen in my entire life."

"I don't want to give away too much but it was the greatest night of all time," he gushed. "My wife and I had a blast. They absolutely showcased that they are in love, it was very obvious."

The pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs player tied the knot in front of A-list guests including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter.
