Rod Stewart and Kevin Bacon have paid heartfelt tributes to late music legend, Bonnie Tyler.

On Thursday, a representative announced that the Welsh singer, born Gaynor Hopkins, had died at the age of 75.

In May, Tyler underwent emergency surgery in Faro, Portugal for a perforated intestine and was placed in an induced coma.

Following the sad news, Stewart issued a statement via Instagram in which he remembered his "good pal".

"We shared similar styles of vocalizing. She was a good pal, a true soul stirrer. I sing (1977 song) It's A Heartache every night on tour. I'll miss you, darling Bonnie," he wrote.

In addition, Bacon described Tyler as "one of the greatest voices of rock" during an interview for Entertainment Weekly.

"I could not imagine chicken racing a tractor to any other song. RIP," he said, referencing the artist's '80s anthem, Holding Out for a Hero, which plays during a memorable scene in the actor's 1984 film, Footloose.

Johnny Knoxville also expressed his gratitude to Tyler for allowing him to use Holding Out for a Hero for the opening credits of his new movie, Jackass: Best and Last.

"Bonnie Tyler, thanks for letting ur music be a part of Jackass. RIP," he commented via Instagram Stories.

Elsewhere, David Guetta reflected on collaborating with Tyler and producer HYPATON on the 2025 single, Together, which interpolates the chorus of 1983' Total Eclipse of the Heart.

"Your music and spirit will live on forever. Together will always mean a little more now. Grateful we got to share this song with you and @hypaton. Rest in peace @bonnietylerofficial," the DJ stated.

And Jamie Lee Curtis reflected on how her character, cocktail waitress Annette, dances to Total Eclipse of the Heart in her 2024 movie, The Last Showgirl.

"Bonnie Tyler's interpretation of that song, of the longing and loss and tragedy of love was the perfect anthem both for the world at large, but very much for Annette and I am thrilled with the way it was used in the movie and I was sad to wake up and hear about her passing today," she added.

Tyler is survived by her husband, Robert Sullivan.
