Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married.
The pop superstar and American football player exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday evening, in front of a reported 1,000 guests.
Confirming the nuptials, Swift's representative, Tree Paine, simply commented, "Just married."
According to editors at USA Today, the ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler.
The pair didn't have bridal parties, with Taylor's brother Austin Swift serving as her "man of honour" and Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, acting as his best man.
Taylor wore a couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior.
The star-studded guest list included Lena Dunham, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Jack Antonoff, Hugh Grant, Benson Boone, Dakota Johnson, Nikki Glaser, Sombr, Mariska Hargitay, and Patrick Mahomes.
Taylor, 36, began dating the Kansas City Chiefs player, also 36, in summer 2023 after the sportsman revealed on his New Heights podcast that he tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it during an Eras Tour show.
Two months later, in September 2023, the Blank Space singer made her first appearance at one of his football games, seemingly confirming that they were dating.
In her 2025 docuseries, The End of an Era, Taylor's mother Andrea revealed that she encouraged her daughter to reach out to Travis after reading articles about his comments.
"It was so earnest," Andrea explained. "I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world that he came to your show, he brought you something from your world... I liked it."
The Shake It Off singer recalled, "You called me up with this tone of, 'Hey, so I know you're not gonna react well to this. But there's a guy.' You said something to the effect of, 'You've got to start doing something different.'"
The couple announced their engagement in August 2025 after two years of dating. Alongside pictures of Travis's proposal in a rose-filled garden, they wrote in the caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."
With 37.5 million likes, the engagement announcement is one of the most-liked posts on Instagram.
