A bar owner has accused Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of forcing the closure of his venue opposite Madison Square Garden amid their rumoured wedding plans.
Michael O'Brien, owner of New York City venue O'Brien's Bar & Grill, has called out the music megastar and the NFL player for leaving his establishment empty.
Speaking to Us Weekly, O'Brien said about the couple, "You've wronged us, make it right."
The bar is located directly opposite Madison Square Garden, where it has been widely reported that Taylor and Travis are set to marry on Friday evening.
Due to the reported event, the area has largely been closed off to the public and has reportedly been flooded with police officers since the couple's rumoured rehearsal dinner inside the arena on Thursday.
O'Brien claimed, "We've reached out to the city, the mayor's office, NYPD, Travis Kelce's PR team, Taylor Swift's management company, I believe owned by her family or run by her family.
"Travis and Taylor stonewalled (us). No replies to emails or phone calls or messages left."
The bar owner explained that he had offered to work with the couple, suggesting they use his establishment for guests or staff.
"Or we said, if you want a private event with the block closed, look to buy us out," he continued. "Whether you want to use us as a function or you just want us closed for privacy, we are more than willing to do whatever it is you need. Work with us, talk to us."
O'Brien claimed that he received "no response".
He went on to state that he had expected the bar to be busy because of the World Cup and an influx of tourists in the city, but noted that the barricades were "not allowing people down the street".
"At this point we're closing tomorrow because we've heard it's going to be the same as this or worse tomorrow," he told the outlet.
