Tomorrowland has officially been crowned the World’s No. 1 Festival in the 2026 edition of DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals.

Propelled by a record-breaking number of public votes, the historic win marks the sixth consecutive victory for the legendary electronic music event. Turning the Belgian town of Boom into a vibrant global city for electronic music each summer, the festival welcomes roughly 400,000 visitors across two weekends to experience world-class programming and cinematic staging.

Reacting to the monumental achievement, Tomorrowland founders Michiel and Manu Beers stated: "Being voted the world’s No. 1 festival for a sixth consecutive year is an incredible honour and something we deeply appreciate. This recognition belongs to the entire Tomorrowland family: our visitors, artists, partners, suppliers and the thousands of people who work passionately behind the scenes throughout the year. To receive this recognition directly from the global electronic music community and DJ Mag readers is both humbling and inspiring. It motivates us to keep innovating, keep dreaming and continue creating magical experiences that bring people together from every corner of the world."

The global countdown revealed major movements across the international live music landscape. Insomniac's flagship US event, EDC Las Vegas, surged back into second place following its recent 30th anniversary celebrations, bumping Miami's Ultra Music Festival down to fourth. Romania’s UNTOLD held firm in third position.

The United Kingdom made a strong showing within the top ten, with dance specialist Creamfields securing seventh place and the iconic Glastonbury Festival taking ninth. Further elite placements went to India's Sunburn, Italy's Kappa FuturFestival, and Germany's PAROOKAVILLE. The US remains the dominant festival market with 15 entries overall, followed by the UK and the Netherlands with nine spots each. Notably, Britain's underground dance event Houghton claimed the Highest Climber award, jumping 43 places to land at number 43. The full global rankings are currently available to view on the official DJ Mag digital platforms.
