Kane Brown has suffered a head injury while playing golf.

The country star had to miss the Tight End University concert, presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese's, in Nashville on Tuesday.

At the event, former NFL players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton of Bussin' with the Boys revealed the news.

"Kane Brown got hit with a golf ball today on the golf course; 23 stitches," Compton shared. "He says concussion. The football guys probably don't buy it."

Brown shared a series of Instagram Stories posts detailing his injuries.

"Shot in the head by a golf ball," he wrote on the first post, showing off a bloody ear.

In the second photo, Brown highlighted his stitches. "Just a scratch," he wrote over the image.

The Woman singer then wrote, "It will prob get worse next 48 hours, but I'm alive and that's all that matters. Holy c**p."

Brown's wife, Katelyn, posted to her Instagram Stories, "This wasn't a golf ball that had been flying through the air and had been losing momentum. He was right off the side from it," she began. "It could have been so much worse."

She continued, "We got great news after his CT scans, nothing internally, no skull fractures, this was just all basically external with a minor concussion. We were so relieved."

Brown was scheduled to perform at the concert, which featured a surprise set from Taylor Swift, who joined fiancé Travis Kelce at the event.
