Three founding members of the iconic rock band The Alarm are set to share a stage for the first time in over twenty years. The musicians will come together for two special London concerts celebrating 45 years of the band's enduring musical legacy.
Taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2026, the exclusive performances will be held at The Garage in London. Running under the banner REUNION, the weekend is designed as a massive celebration of the band's spirit, while also honoring the life of former frontman Mike Peters, who passed away in 2025.
To handle vocal duties for these historic shows, the band has recruited guest vocalist Robert Latimer. Latimer is the frontman of the fast-rising Coventry indie-rock band Candid, a group known for its raw emotional honesty and high-energy live sets. Candid has recently earned significant acclaim, including support from the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend and slots at major events like the Isle of Wight Festival.
Lead guitarist and founding member Dave Sharp expressed immense excitement about the collaboration, noting that Latimer's dynamic stage presence, powerful vocal delivery, and authentic emotional connection to the material made him the definitive choice for the upcoming shows.
The London weekend caps off a busy month for the band's broader family. Under the banner The Alarm 2.0 "Marching On," founder and co-songwriter Eddie Macdonald is also returning to the road this August following a highly successful spring tour. The six-show summer run will bring trademark anthems to fans across the country, starting in Carmarthen on 14th August, followed by dates in Buckley, Leeds, and Cardiff. The tour culminates with a festival appearance at Camper Calling on 28th August, just before the full London reunion event.
