Celebrated organist, conductor, and social media phenomenon Anna Lapwood MBE has officially announced her first-ever UK arena tour, scheduled for November 2026. The landmark concert series will see the breakout classical star bring the full sonic power of the pipe organ to some of the nation's largest entertainment stages, utilizing a specialized, bespoke touring instrument.
The high-profile tour is scheduled to visit three major cities, kicking off at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. Lapwood will then head north to perform at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Tuesday, November 24, before concluding the arena run at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Wednesday, November 25. Tickets for all three dates will go on official public sale on Thursday, June 18, at 10am.
As the official organist of the Royal Albert Hall, Lapwood has built an expansive digital audience of over four million followers across TikTok and other social platforms, helping introduce classical instrumentation to an entirely new generation of listeners. Her boundary-breaking approach contrasts traditional classical repertoire with contemporary music and cinematic film scores, featuring her own virtuosic transcriptions of soundtracks from Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lord of the Rings.
"For several years, it has been my dream to bring the pipe organ into arenas and show people just how versatile it can be," Lapwood stated, expressing immense excitement to share the soundtracks that shaped her childhood alongside her favorite classical pieces. "I've always said that this is an instrument that tells stories; this is my most exciting story yet."
An Oxford University graduate, Lapwood made history as the first female Organ Scholar in Magdalen College’s 560-year lineage before becoming the youngest-ever Director of Music at Pembroke College, Cambridge. Her chart-topping 2025 solo album, Firedove, released via Sony Classical, debuted at Number 1 on the Official Classical Artist Albums Chart.
Known for high-profile collaborative work with mainstream pop and electronic acts like Florence + the Machine, Raye, and Bonobo, Lapwood will also offer specialized family tickets for the November tour to ensure maximum accessibility for young music fans.
