Taylor Swift has officially secured her seventh UK Number 1 single as her latest track, "I Knew It, I Knew You," debuted straight at the summit of the Official Singles Chart. Written and produced in collaboration with Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff, the song marks a distinct return to Swift's traditional country music roots. The track serves as a musical preview for the highly anticipated animated sequel Toy Story 5, which is scheduled to land in cinemas on Friday, June 19, 2026.

The chart-topping release via EMI joins an illustrious list of UK number-one hits for Swift, alongside "Look What You Made Me Do," "Anti-Hero," "Is It Over Now? (Taylor's Version)," "Fortnight," "The Fate of Ophelia," and "Opalite." This achievement elevates Swift on the all-time historical leaderboard, placing her alongside music legends Michael Jackson, George Michael, and U2, who each hold seven UK number-one singles. Swift also becomes the first international artist to secure two top-spot singles in 2026, following the success of "Opalite" in February. The only other artist to match this feat this calendar year is Harry Styles.

Further down the weekly standings, the late American rapper and songwriter Mac Miller earned his first-ever UK Top 40 placement. His 2016 track "Cinderella," which features Ty Dolla $ign, experienced a massive viral resurgence across social media platforms, causing the nostalgic track to jump 14 places into the main chart at Number 27.

American internet personality and musician Alex Warren earned his sixth career Top 40 single as his latest track, "Passenger," entered the charts at Number 22 ahead of his upcoming album, Wildchild. Breakthrough California singer-songwriter Alyssa Grace also celebrated her maiden Top 40 entry with her new track "Bloodstream" at Number 25, alongside Sheffield-born electronic producer Silva Bumpa, who made his debut at Number 32 with his summer anthem "On 2nite." Rounding out the notable chart movements, Ella Langley’s "Choosin’ Texas" climbed to a new peak at Number 12, while electronic duo Prospa rebounded to Number 17 with "Free Your Mind."
