Katy Perry has hailed her boyfriend Justin Trudeau as the "love of my life".

The singer made her red carpet debut with the former Canadian Prime Minister at the premiere of her new concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris, at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Monday.

After the premiere, Perry took part in a Q&A session and made it clear she's fully committed to her relationship with Trudeau.

"I would say now at the end of 91 shows, I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life. I am very in love," the 41-year-old star revealed as she reflected on her Lifetimes Tour.

"Actually, that show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very anchored by that," Perry added, referring to the November 2025 tour dates in Paris featured in the new concert film.

Perry continued to discuss her romance with Trudeau and credited her 54-year-old boyfriend for helping her to feel safe and grounded.

"I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite - I fly super high. Sometimes I need to be anchored, so to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now," she explained.

Perry also touched upon her painful split from long-time partner Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.

The Firework singer admitted 2025 was one of the "hardest years" of her life and revealed how her daughter and her fans helped her through the darkest days of her break-up.

"There were days that were really, really, really hard, and I just kept going because I made a promise to my fans, I made a promise to my daughter, I made a promise to myself," Perry shared.

"And I got through it. I walked through the fire because everybody has to walk through their own fire. And if you're walking through hell, you keep going, because on the other side of hell is definitely heaven," she continued.

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Perry described herself as "different" since she entered her 40s, claiming her 20s were "for emotions", her 30s helped her work through her feelings, while her 40s are for "not caring about them".
