Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have hosted a weekend of wedding celebrations in Sicily.
After a very private civil ceremony in London, the newlyweds got married all over again on Saturday. This time, the couple went big with a lavish affair in the capital city, Palermo, in a scenic celebration that cost a reported $1.73 million (£1.29 million) according to Vanity Fair.
A-listers flocked to Italy for one of the celebrity weddings of the year, with Charli XCX, George Daniel, Joe Alwyn, Grace Gummer, Mark Ronson, Donatella Versace and Troye Sivan among those in attendance.
Lipa and Turner arrived in Sicily on Wednesday night ahead of their guests, setting up base at the Villa Igiea Hotel on the outskirts of Palermo.
The celebrations kicked off with a party on Friday with live music and a cocktail reception in the Piazza Croce dei Vespri.
According to local sources, the celebrations later moved to the historic Palazzo Valguarnera Ganci for dinner, where Elton John serenaded the couple with Your Song.
News.com.au reported that the couple paid out $6,700 (£5,000) to Palermo residents, who were annoyed at the disruptions caused by their wedding in the Italian city this weekend.
However, the official line was that the couple's decision to hold their second wedding in Palermo was a "great honour".
"For us, having Dua Lipa's wedding here is a great honour, and the welcome they will receive will promote the city on the international stage," Antonio Rini from Palermo Council's tourism department gushed.
"Several big international artists will be arriving in Palermo for the wedding, and this is a great return for the city."
