Cardi B has issued a public apology to Latto for a "heated conversation" they had at the height of their beef.
Last September, a phone call in which the I Like It rapper called out Ice Spice and allegedly labelled Latto - real name Alyssa Stephens - a "p**sy" leaked online.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Thursday, Latto confirmed a lyric in her new song Gimme Dat was about Cardi and her offer to buy her a handbag to make up for her behaviour.
And a short time later, Cardi - born Belcalis Almánzar - took to X to clear the air again.
"On that call I didn't even mean to call you that, I didn't mean any harm. There's a difference in what I said vs what I meant," she began. "What I could have said was you was too forgiving and gave too much mercy in that situation... But it was a heated conversation and I let my mouth get the best of me (sic)."
Cardi went on to note that she was heavily pregnant at the time of the chat and was "extremely overwhelmed and emotional". The Up star welcomed a son with boyfriend Stefon Diggs in November.
In addition, Cardi claimed she had made "multiple attempts" to reach out to Latto.
"I genuinely felt bad about what happened. I spoke with your manager, your sister, and even texted you directly to take full responsibility. I always had love and respect for you ! I always wanted to make it right but making it right looks different for the both of us... I wanted to connect with you but you wanted to address it on your album (sic)," the 33-year-old added.
Latto has not publicly responded to Cardi's comments.
However, the Big Energy hitmaker indicated during her interview on The Breakfast Club that she wanted to move on, having given birth to her first child, a daughter, last month.
"I'm open to the conversation. When? I don't know 'cause I got a baby now, life done kept moving," the 27-year-old mused. "The people just now hearing that song but like I made that song when that was a topic in my life. It wasn't no diss, that's just what was happening in my life. Like, you talking about buying Big Mama a bag? I don't need no damn bag."
Latto dropped her fourth studio album, Big Mama, late last month.
