Ciara has sent a sweet message to her husband, Russell Wilson, following his retirement from the National Football League (NFL).
On Wednesday, the quarterback - who primarily played for the Seattle Seahawks - announced that he was retiring from the sport after 14 seasons.
Alongside a montage of career highlights posted via Instagram, Russell wrote, "Thank You, Football. Love, #3."
And in response, the athlete's wife, Ciara, congratulated him on his decision.
"The best in the world! There's only one, 3! Always so proud of you! It's a true blessing to go on this journey with you! My greatest inspiration! I love you so much!" she declared.
In addition, a number of other celebrities offered up supportive messages.
"LOVE YOU BRO!! And SO Proud of you!!" praised Kelly Rowland, while La La Anthony added: "Love u bro!!!!!!! Icon forever!!!"
Following his exit from the NFL, Russell will join CBS Sports as a sportscaster.
"As I enter this next chapter with CBS Sports and The NFL Today, I'm so blessed to continue doing what I love most - being around the greatest game in the world," the 37-year-old commented in the video.
Ciara and Russell wed in 2016. They share daughters Sienna, nine, and Amora, two, and son Win, five.
The Goodies hitmaker is also mother to son Future, 12, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
