Charli XCX has announced that she is preparing to release her seventh studio album, Music, Fashion, Film.
The Brat hitmaker has revealed that the highly anticipated record will be released on 24 July.
Charli announced the news in an Instagram post shared on Monday, featuring artwork for the new album shot by Aidan Zamiri. The black and white cover features musician and producer John Cale, fashion designer Marc Jacobs and acclaimed filmmaker Martin Scorsese.
In the caption, the 365 singer revealed that the album will feature 11 songs and run for exactly 30 minutes and five seconds.
Charli released two singles, Rock Music and SS26, in early May ahead of the upcoming album. Fans and critics have noted that the tracks appear to move away from her signature Auto-Tune-heavy sound in favour of a more organic approach.
The announcement also comes shortly after the 33-year-old released a full cinematic soundtrack album to accompany Emerald Fennell's film adaptation of Wuthering Heights, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
Alongside her latest music releases, Charli also starred this year in The Moment, an A24 mockumentary in which she plays a fictionalised version of herself navigating the pressures of pop stardom following the release of her smash hit album Brat.
Released in 2024, Brat became both a critical and commercial success, evolving into a wider cultural phenomenon. The record topped charts in several countries and earned three Grammy Awards.
