Global music icon RAYE has been officially presented with two prestigious Guinness World Records titles in a surprise backstage ceremony. The global authority on record-breaking achievements presented the multi-award-winning singer-songwriter with her official certificates at London's The O2 on Wednesday 20 May 2026, immediately following her acclaimed "This Tour May Contain New Music" performance.
The backstage presentation created a poetic full-circle moment for the London-born artist, returning to the exact venue where she initially rewrote British music history. RAYE was officially recognized for achieving the most BRIT Award nominations in a single year, with seven nominations, as well as the most BRIT Awards won in a single year, walking away with six trophies during the 2024 ceremony.
RAYE's historic run began when she dominated the 44th BRIT Awards shortlist, earning nods for British Album of the Year for her independent debut My 21st Century Blues, alongside nominations for Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Pop Act, Best R&B Act, and Best New Artist.
