The collaboration marks a significant philanthropic commitment from Shakira, who will donate her royalties from "Dai Dai" to the fund. Additionally, Sony Music has pledged to match the first $250,000 raised, and Shakira will donate $1 from every ticket sold during her upcoming "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" world tour. Burna Boy highlighted the unifying power of the project, stating, "Football and music speak the same language. They bring people together no matter where you’re from."
In a historic move, Shakira was also announced as a co-headliner for the first-ever FIFA World Cup™ Final Halftime Show. On July 19, 2026, she will take the stage alongside Madonna and BTS for a landmark performance at the intersection of sport and global culture.
