The woman who allegedly shot at Rihanna's Beverly Hills mansion while the pop star was home has been identified and charged.
Ivana Ortiz, 35, was arrested following the attack and charged with attempted murder by the Los Angeles Police Department, according to Page Six.
She's currently being held in custody, with bail set at US$10.225 million (£7.61 million).
The incident unfolded at the singer's home on Sunday afternoon when a woman fired several shots at the residence.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Police Department reported that the star's Beverly Hills mansion was hit by at least 10 rounds of gunfire, with one bullet penetrating the wall of the home
A spokesperson for the LAPD told the outlet that authorities responded to reports of the shooting at 1.21pm Sunday, local time.
LAPD radio dispatch of the incident revealed that "approximately 10 shots" from a rifle had been fired at the house from a white Tesla that was parked across the street from the property's gate.
A 23 February Facebook post on Ortiz's account reads, "@badgalriri Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I'm not at."
Rihanna lives in a colonial-style mansion in the upscale neighbourhood with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three young children.
It is not known if her family were also home at the time of the shooting.
