The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard has announced that trailblazing artist and producer PinkPantheress is the recipient of this year’s Producer of the Year Award. The multi-platinum star makes history as the youngest ever recipient of the honor, as well as the first woman to be presented with the award since its inception. Decided by an expert panel from the music production sector, she joins an elite roll call of past winners including Calvin Harris, Fred again.., and A. G. Cook.

PinkPantheress, who is also nominated for Artist of the Year and Dance Act, expressed her gratitude for the milestone. "My music production is the thing I’m proudest of, and I’ve worked really hard at it," she stated, adding that she hopes the win inspires other women to pursue their passion in the studio. Stacey Tang, Chair of the BRIT Awards Committee, praised the producer's "precise and playful" style, noting that she is "quietly reshaping what modern pop can be."

The ceremony will debut at its new Manchester home, Co-op Live, on Saturday 28 February. Hosted by Jack Whitehall, the night features a high-octane performance lineup including Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, ROSALÍA, and Mark Ronson. The singing voices of HUNTR/X—EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI—are also confirmed to perform, alongside Alex Warren and SOMBR.

This year’s awards see Olivia Dean and Lola Young leading the nominations with five nods each, followed closely by Mercury Prize winner Sam Fender with four. The event also marks a significant return for Britpop icons Pulp, who received their first nomination in three decades. Scottish singer-songwriter Jacob Alon has already been confirmed as the winner of the BRITs Critics’ Choice award.

The 2026 trophies were designed by Manchester-born designer Matthew Williamson, paying homage to the city’s heritage. The show will broadcast live on ITV and ITVX in the UK and stream globally on YouTube, continuing the BRITs' tradition of celebrating the very best in global and British talent.
