The sonic assault of BRITs Week 26, delivered by DHL for War Child, reached a fever pitch last night as the Brighton-based punk duo Lambrini Girls took over London’s iconic Islington venue, The Garage. Known for their unapologetic stage presence and socially conscious lyricism, the duo delivered a masterclass in modern punk, blending high-octane moshpits with vital messages of resistance and empowerment.
The intimate set saw the duo tear through fan favorites including "God’s Country" and "Love," performing to a packed, adoring crowd. Adding to the night’s cultural weight, the duo was supported by drag icon and acclaimed disruptor Bimini, whose opening performance perfectly complimented the evening's rebellious spirit.
The performance is part of an expanded BRITs Week 26, which precedes The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard on Saturday, February 28th. This year marks a historic shift as the main awards ceremony leaves London for the first time in nearly five decades to take place in Manchester. To match this new era, BRITs Week has expanded its reach, hosting one-off shows across Newcastle, London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Brighton, and Manchester.
Beyond the music, the series serves a critical humanitarian purpose. All proceeds go directly to War Child, an organization providing life-saving aid, education, and mental health support to the 1 in 5 children globally currently living in conflict zones. In what is currently the deadliest time in history to be a child, these intimate shows allow music fans to directly fund the rebuilding of lives devastated by war.
While the Lambrini Girls have left their mark on London, the series is far from over. Intimate performances are still to come from a diverse range of talent, including a space-rock set from Spiritualized at EartH on February 18th, followed by dates with The K’s, Olivia Dean, and a highly anticipated Manchester finale with Robbie Williams.
For fans looking to catch the remaining acts, a few final tickets are still available. It remains a rare opportunity to see world-class artists in "up-close and personal" settings while supporting one of the world's most essential charities.
