The Bodak Yellow singer and the sports star both attended the 2026 Super Bowl, where Diggs played for the New England Patriots.
Cardi B appeared on the field during Bad Bunny's halftime show alongside Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba.
But fans were quick to notice that the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram on 8 February, prompting rumours that their relationship may have ended.
The rapper and the NFL player first confirmed their romance in May 2025 after being seen together at a New York Knicks basketball game. The announcement came a few months after Cardi B filed for divorce from her former husband, rapper Offset.
In September 2025, the couple revealed they were expecting a child, and Cardi B gave birth to a baby boy in November. The child is her fourth, following three children from her previous relationship.
Diggs is the father of six children from various past relationships.
In recent months, Cardi B has been seen supporting Diggs at his games, and the pair appeared publicly affectionate.
In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, both spoke publicly about one another without indicating any issues.
Diggs also suggested that marriage could be a possibility, saying: "It's on the agenda, maybe, right? Right?"
